BASELINE SURVEY OF FEMALE ENTREPRENEURS 2009 - EFG
Equality For Growth (“EFG”) has been set up to
empower informal women workers in Tanzania
through legal and human rights education, advocacy
and capacity building in order to eradicate poverty.
Its vision is a market place free from gender barriers
where informal women workers of all levels can
operate freely on an equal footing with men, and be
free from all types of exploitation.
EFG was established in February 2008 as a
working group in Tanzania. In August 2008, it was
formalised into a registered company limited by
guarantee (and not having share capital) under
Registration N. 66935.
